Everyone knows I’m a huge fan of writing to make money. I blog, and I write articles frequently, as well as books, and while that is how I make the bulk of my money I do other things as well. One of those things is I create digital art for bookcovers, desktop wallpapers, websites and really for anyone that needs it. Now in my case I use the program Poser 6 to do this, but you don’t have to take the time to learn a program like Poser to be able to make money off of images. You can use your digital camera. I came across a really good book recently called Photo Wealth System: Make Money Online With Your Digital Camera. Now I will say right off when I first saw the website for this, I figured that it was one of the many scams. However, I got the book, read it, and was quite pleasantly surprised. In fact, I even got some ideas for new ways to sell my digital art, so that in and of itself made the cost worth it to me. This book covers everything from where to sell your photos online, to how to turn your photos into screen savers that can then be sold on e-Bay, to how to copyright your photos just like you would a book. It even gives you tips on how to take the best photos such as how to frame a photo, and the best lighting and how to use it to your advantage to name a few. It is 100 pages packed with good information. Since I’m planning on utilizing much of what I learned in this book, I figured it was a good idea for me to share the information with others.

Diversification is really important when you’re a freelancer, and the fact is when you can do other creative things to make money besides your main bread winner, it helps you to stay fresh with your writing, and it makes coming up with ideas easier as well.
